Tito's Tacos Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Throngs of folks from all over line up at Tito's to order its tacos and burritos. Popular with media types from nearby Sony and kids from Pasadena making a Tito's run, this unassuming taco stand has been an L.A. institution since 1959.
Food & Drinks: The shredded beef filling has a somewhat spicy kick (the burritos have a bit more bite than the tacos) and the cheese is real cheddar. Your choices are beef or beans --- no chicken here. There are also beef or chicken tamales made with Anaheim chile and slathered in savory meat sauce, enchiladas filled with cheddar, a small tostada topped with refried beans, and homemade guacamole. Simple, greasy and good, with a short menu and surprisingly quick service, Tito’s is a spot worth the drive.
