 Berlin Currywurst in Silver Lake celebrates Berlin’s favorite street food, which consists of German sausages bathed in spicy, curry-infused sauce. Traditional German sausages such as bratwurst (all natural pork), bockwurst (all natural veal and pork), paprika wurst (all natural pork with paprika and garlic), Scharfe Kasewurst (all natural beef with jalapeño and cheese), and even tofu-wurst alternatives for vegetarians are offered with German farmer’s bread and the sauce that turns the sausages into currywurst. Variations like ginger-orange, garlic and chipotle are available, and the heat meter ranges from mild to over-the-top (organic chocolate milk is dispensed to put out the fire).
