 This Santa Monica café specializes in arepas---South American corncakes stuffed with various fillings such as ham and Gouda cheese. (These are great options for diners with allergies as they contain no wheat, gluten or nuts.) The signature "Pacifico" arepa is served with slices of mango, avocado and Panela cheese with a rosemary and roasted garlic aïoli. A variety of salads and sandwiches are also available, including Mediterranean influenced selections like the grilled chicken tapenade sandwich with sundried tomatoes and kalamata olive-rosemary-citrus relish.
