Bootleggers Old Town Tavern & Grill Restaurant Review: Bootleggers is truly an eclectic restaurant, inside and out. It is housed in a nineteenth-century building that was once Auburn’s original city hall, and is awash with European-inspired décor. Even the menu plays on this theme, with a mix of down-home American and a variety of international food, all with locally-produced ingredients and seasonal produce. Starters include everything from Landjaeger sausage to Asian crab cakes, while mains include fish tacos and fried chicken. Choose from more than 60 beers to accompany the hearty cuisine, one of the largest selections of European beers, especially Belgium ales, in the area. |
