The Bottle Room, Whittier, CA

The Bottle Room Restaurant Review

: This ambitious Uptown Whittier gastropub from chef Tony Alcazar and a pair of firefighters is best known for burgers, share plates and craft beer. The space features brick walls, a shady front patio, and a perpetually packed bar. Plenty of people come to The Bottle Room for its impeccable craft beer program, but by all means order food as well. Alcazar’s signature burger is one of the best in L.A. County, with sweet onion relish, arugula, blue cheese and Swiss, and the menu hosts five other burger options. Mediterranean small plates are also popular, particularly seasonal selections like spaghetti carbonara, or possibly baby beets with burrata, Mandarins, pistachios and yuzu vinaigrette. Dessert brings bread pudding with vanilla gelato, salted caramel and hazelnut "crunchies."
