Dining room at Bow & Truss, North Hollywood, CA

Bow & Truss Restaurant Review

: Bow & Truss offers a comfortable NoHo refuge in which to wine and dine on Spanish and Latin fare. Inside are brick walls, a bow ceiling with exposed beams and ducts, open kitchen, hanging lamps, and booths and tables around a central bar. Another bar services the large front patio that abuts busy Magnolia Boulevard. Chef Aaron Grissom's menu starts off with cheese and charcuterie boards, beet and burrata salad, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and "street tacos" with fillings like chicken, chipotle, cilantro and cotija. Larger plates available after 5 p.m. include three regional variations of paella, along with grilled hanger steak and lamb tagine. For dessert, consider butterscotch budino, carrot cake or pineapple cake. The craft beer selection outshines the cocktails and short wine list. Service can be slow.

Wonderful NoHo restaurant

Bow & Truss is a great addition to the North Hollywood arts district area. The outdoor area is great for warmer nights, as is the inside dining room and open kitchen. They make good cocktails and a have a nice variety of beer and wine to choose from. We ordered the chicken confit and pork belly tacos, which were outstanding, and the dulce de leche cheesecake was a perfect ending to the meal!
