The beloved hot dog goes global at this narrow sliver of a storefront on Ventura Boulevard. In addition to standard German and Polish sausages, choose among Swiss (veal), Aussie (ostrich and pistachio), New Zealand (lamb), Austrian (venison) and Wild West (buffalo) versions. They’re all served on a hard roll with sides of fresh-made sauerkraut and American-style potato salad in a simple room with faux wood tables. Also located at 8516 W.
