THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED One of the many new dining establishments to fill the glitzy Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex, Café Mozart of Europe is entirely forgettable for its lunch and dinner menus, featuring hot dogs and deli sandwiches. So why are the crowds flocking to this little café that more resembles a Vienna storefront than glamorous Hollywood? Because this tiny emporium serves up some of the finest ice cream desserts and European pâtisserie this side of the Atlantic. At least five pages of the restaurant’s charmingly illustrated, spiral bound menu are dedicated to sweet coffee drinks. There are also multiple pages of ice cream confections. But the case of pastries and cakes speaks for itself. And don’t be fooled by names, the Sissy cake, made with multiple layers of chocolate and mousse, is not for chocolate lightweights.
