OPENING MAY 2024 --- Carmel, a Tel Aviv inspired restaurant, will open in the former Village Idiot space on Melrose Avenue. Using a wood-burning oven and an open flame grill, chef Asaf Maoz will draw on his Syrian and Italian heritage and offer dishes such as whole grilled spotted shrimp with grape leaves and frisée.
