THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cinnabar Restaurant Review:

An old moving company building is the setting for a hauntingly romantic dining room, with dramatic black linen-clad tables topped with red-shaded lamps. The ornate bar, salvaged from a now-defunct Chinatown restaurant, is famous for its vintage cocktails and is popular with the studio crowd. Cinnabar’s cuisine has a basis---however attenuated---in French cooking. Added on are impressive Pan-Asian accents. We’ve been pleased with the spicy lemon grass bouillabaisse in Asian lime-leaf broth, the air-dried duck, sesame-crusted salmon in lobster-curry sauce, and the yellowtail millefeuille, an exciting concoction of sashimi layered between wonton skins and a black-sesame tuile.
