This Tustin offshoot of the Newport original location is just as good without the ocean locale.

This second Crab Cooker location isn’t as authentic as the original on Balboa Peninsula, but it still has the same flavor as the 50-year-old casual fish market across from Newport Pier. It’s a very casual, kid-friendly place with simple tables, paper plates and an eclectic décor. Remember, everyone flocks here because the fish is reliably fresh and nicely cooked. Always on the menu is Pacific Dungeness crab, Alaskan red King and Killer crab claws, fresh-caught Dana Point spiny lobster and other fish and shellfish flown in from around the world. Regulars stop by often for a comforting bowl of the Manhattan clam chowder. The wine list is rather decent with some nice California selections by the glass and bottle.
