THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dolphins Restaurant Review:

What this East Village place lacks in focus it makes up for in good food and generosity. The décor looks a little Greek dinerish but the mostly European diners ignore it. The chef is Japanese; her partner is Chilean, which makes for interesting twists on seafood and such dishes as a spicy bean dip as well as edamame. The tuna tartare is spicy; the crabcakes are crisp. And if the execution is a little sloppy, the tastes are on target. The wine list, however, is regrettable.
