Dining room at Dragon Herbs, Beverly Hills, CA

Dragon Herbs Restaurant Review

: Dragon Herbs, founded by herbalist Ron Teeguarden and his wife, Yanlin, specializes in Chinese tonic herbs that promote holistic health. The Santa Monica location is solely an emporium, while this Beverly Hills shop features an elixir bar in addition to the retail aspect. About a dozen chairs face the marble-topped bar, and there are interesting design details like Chinese roof tiles that catch the eye. To ensure their freshness, elixirs are stored and dispensed through a cruvinet system. There’s also a refrigerated case that presents Dragon Herbs’ line of bottled drinks, including the probiotic Jun Alchemy. Choose from the menu of tonics such as Tibetan Magic, which boasts energy boosting effects, or consult with the staff to create a health-promoting beverage that’s brewed right in front of you. If you like how that makes your mojo flow, you can have one of the experts on staff in the emporium section help you build a daily program of supplements.
