Eclectic Restaurant Review: Nestled into the mall of the Beaugrenelle quarter, famous for its gigantic towers erected in front of the Seine, this modern brasserie features a huge terrace and a décor conceived by a renowned designer, the English-born Tom Dixon. The dining room sprawls over different levels, with alcoves and banquettes facing bay windows. With original lines and stony materials contributing to the overall effect, the place is meant to reflect the architectural design of the area. Expect an eclectic fare indeed: oysters, sea bream carpaccio, several steaks including Châteaubriand, a cheeseburger, and even daily suggestions like roasted chicken on Tuesday. Carefully prepared, the tuna tartare with avocado, fish ‘n’ chips and panna cotta with a mango coulis go over well. Young and dynamic waitstaff. Appealing wine list with famous samples such as Mouton Rothschild and Château Margaux.
