| Students and families like the good margaritas and festive atmosphere, which are practically guaranteed at El Cholo. The food is pretty good, too: chicken breasts in flour tortillas with guacamole; crab enchiladas with jalapeño-cilantro pesto sauce; Sonora-style enchilada topped with a fried egg; and the famous homemade green corn tamales, which you can get only, alas, from May through October. The patio’s a nice place to relax. Settle yourself under one of the umbrellas. |
