| Lost amidst the slicker, better-known Old Pasadena eateries, this narrow dining room is filled with red booths and tables clad in pink linen. Poster-sized versions of vintage postcards share the walls with Pacifica and Dos Equis signs. Virtually nothing exceeds a single digit in price and portions are typically generous (the refreshing seafood cocktails are of massive proportions). Among other things, you'll find fish tacos, several unusual seafood soups, a hot Jalisco steak, and a massive burrito stuffed with carnitas. Sadly, most folks walk right by this unique place on their way to a Cheesecake Factory or Crocodile Café. |
