Empress Harbor Seafood Restaurant Restaurant Review: Dim sum is the main attraction at this grandiose Hong Kong-style seafood palace, embellished with ornate dragons, brass columns and crystal chandeliers. But you'll also find exotic specialties such as "geoduck" (otherwise known as giant clams), sliced abalone with sea cucumbers, and goose webs in a clay pot. The less adventurous will be happy with more familiar favorites like chicken in black bean sauce, crispy Peking duck, spare ribs in an orange peel and garlic sauce, and cooked-to-order lobster. Cantonese, Mandarin and Szechuan cooking styles are all featured at this bustling, showy dining room. For dessert, diners can find mango pudding, baked almond paste, and sweet walnut soup. |
