Fiesta Grill Restaurant Review: This unpretentious eatery out in the country draws legions of Mexican food enthusiasts who drive miles to savor the authentic, homey fare. The sometimes long wait for a table and the minimal décor do not deter its fans. Start with a beer, sangría or seasonal agua fresca and frijoles with chorizo dip or the generous Fiesta grill plate, a sampler of taquitos, flautas, nachos and quesadilla, served with guacamole and sour cream. Then choose between catfish with garlic sauce or carne asada (grilled skirt steak, onions and avocado), chile verde (diced pork in a green chili sauce), chicken with a spicy mole sauce, or the caldo siete mares (spicy seafood soup). For dessert, we suggest fried ice cream with chocolate sauce or classic flan. Friendly service is as satisfying as the food.
