THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flora Kitchen Restaurant Review:
One of trendy La Brea Avenue's most delightful discoveries is this unique café, whose linen-clad tables spill from a bustling dining room onto a shaded sidewalk and onto the floor of Rita Flora, one of the city's most acclaimed flower shops. Offering an ever-changing, Mediterranean-influenced menu, you can stop in for a fresh salad (Greek, ahi tuna Niçoise), sandwich (grilled eggplant with roasted peppers, pesto and marinara sauce makes a healthy choice), pasta or entrée like citrus-marinated roasted chicken. For breakfast, we enjoy eggs Benedict, fluffy almond waffles and the Scottish smoked salmon with bagels and cream cheese.
