 Chef Benjamin Ford keeps his eye on the seasonal-organic map with this American Regional gastropub set in a space designed to play both nostalgic and modern-day notes. The ex-Chadwick partner (and son of Harrison Ford) prepares a handful of tasty ultra-thin-crusted flatbreads, fried Ipswich clams, brook trout with hazelnut cream, and a very solid pub burger made with organic sirloin. Salads are fresh and properly dressed and a meal composed of appetizers, cured meats and cheese can make for an enjoyable stay at this unpretentious place, either in the woodsy interior or out on the patio. |
