| Since 1924, Fosselman's Ice Cream parlors have indulged sweet-tooth cravings with classic soda fountain staples and exotic tropical flavors. This location, in business since 1941 and still family-owned by brothers Chris and John Fosselman, is one of the oldest establishments in the Los Angeles area. Favorites like shakes, malts, sundaes, banana splits, brownie sundaes, smoothies, floats and ice cream sodas feature big on the menu, but for adventuresome fun, seasonal and exotically refreshing flavors are the main attraction. Among some of the most popular are Asian-inspired ice cream flavors like green tea, taro and lychee. Summertime winners are the pink grapefruit, green apple and mango sorbets. And for the holidays, replace that boring pumpkin pie with some sweetly spiced pumpkin ice cream, or ring in the New Year with a double scoop of eggnog ice cream. |
