THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES French 75 Restaurant Review:

THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO WILHELM'S SAVANNAH. This outpost of David Wilhelm's French bistro with dark wood accents, artsy photos of Paris and vintage beverage posters is a romanticized vision of a Parisian bistro (even if you know you're still in Burbank). Belle Époque lighting fixtures and candle-illuminated tables enhance the mood, as does a sexy bar-lounge aglow in red. This location features live jazz nightly in its sexy lounge or on the lush patio. There are private dining rooms, and one is so private, it has its own back entrance for local celebrities and entertainment industry folk. The menu features decent interpretations of bistro food like short ribs à la Bourguignon, roast chicken and grilled pork tenderloin. Seafood lovers should start with the pricey plateaux de fruits de mer, a luxuriously-stacked silver bowl filled with Pacific oysters, Gulf shrimp, king crab legs and ahi avocado tartare. The “steak frites” menu offers a choice between six cuts of beef and five different sauces, from peppercorn to Roquefort butter to the classic béarnaise. Don't miss the restaurant's trademark chocolate soufflé, which fairly oozes rivulets of Callebaut chocolate.
