| East Pasadenans are drawn to this roomy, nondescript Japanese eatery with its three-sided blonde wood sushi bar. It's almost impossible not to like Gin, the boisterous, fun-loving chef-proprietor, but his suburban hangout is best suited for an impromptu local sushi fix and will disappoint those who take their sushi seriously. However, if you're one of the many Angelenos who mistakenly associate a selection of zany rolls with good sushi, you'll be pleased to see nearly 50 on Gin’s menu, all attractively priced. |
