| The cavernous dining room at this brewhouse and restaurant, with its wooden beams and a freestanding stone fireplace sporting huge moose antler-shaped andirons, booms with a noisy, happy crowd of diners. Enjoy a starter such as the ale-cheddar pot---a crock of warm blended cheeses, ale, and tobacco served with crisp pizza points. Alderwood-fired rotisserie meats and an array of exotic pizzas, including Thai chicken pizza with chicken, sweet Thai chili sauce, peanuts, bean sprouts, onions and cilantro, are always winners. We also suggest the rotisserie-roasted lemon-herb chicken, paired with mashed potatoes. The spinach and strawberry salad is a refreshing match for any entrée. There's often standing room only at the bar, which serves classic cocktails, wine and beer. Look beyond through the glass wall to see the floor-to-ceiling brewing equipment. |
