The Cheesecake Factory's more ambitious concept that debuted at Las Vegas' The Venetian hotel has now arrived at the Beverly Center. The sprawling space is indeed very Vegas-esque, decked out in gold and black, with literally tons of Italian marble accents and Art Deco-inspired lighting fixtures. The extensive, globetrotting menu offers something for everybody, and the portions---in true Cheesecake Factory tradition---are massive. Starters include mountainous salads, good soups, barbecued duck pot stickers, spicy tuna tartare, and chicken-stuffed lettuce wraps with two dipping sauces. For main courses, most of which can easily be shared, you'll find jambalaya, Jamaican pork tenderloin, lots of pastas and pizzas, filet mignon, herb-roasted swordfish, and much more. To finish, consider chocolate chunk bread pudding with Jack Daniel's sauce or, of course, one of many Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes.
