| This attractive neighborhood spot offers Indian cooking in an intimate and gracious environment. Tables are topped with linen, traditional art graces the saffron-colored walls and crystal chandeliers illuminate the room. An extensive multi-regional menu features pakoras, samosas and onion bhaji (fritters seasoned with ginger) for starters, followed by tandoori chicken, a host of curries, frankies (burrito-like wraps sold from street carts in Bombay), and an assertively spiced rack of lamb. With a long list of vegetarian offerings and good breads from the tandoor, it can take some time to fully explore the menu. The restaurant also has a location in Woodland Hills. |
