| The single best item at this restaurant, set back from Ventura Boulevard and not the kind of place that draws walk-ins, may be the spiced tuna: tender chopped tuna mixed with wasabi, shichimi and seven spices. The menu doesn’t lack other delights. There’s a massive selection of sushi, sashimi and rolls, including premium live giant clam and bluefin chu toro. Sushi Pizza 1000 partners spicy tuna and shiso on crispy rice with house-special miso sauce. For true culinary opulence, Iroha offers filet mignon and foie gras sushi. |
