| This noisy neighborhood favorite (formerly the oh-so-hip West Beach Café) is fun and festive, with a nice patio out front. The cuisine, meanwhile, should be taken seriously, as chef Shari Lynne Robins turns out such dishes as calf’s liver with pancetta, and halibut with wasabi mashed potatoes. Daily specials, like meatloaf and chicken potpie, come with soup or salad. There’s also a wide variety of seafood and vegetarian items, as well as a lunchtime sushi menu. Wines play an important role, as one section of the list (Dan’s Auction Picks) includes vintages in very limited supply. |
