| Dim lighting, a dark wood interior and a stately aquarium create a placid ambience at Jasmine Thai Restaurant---a perfect place to relax after work, bring a date, or have a big get-together with family and friends. Swanky, it's not. You'll find mostly traditional Thai dishes on the menu, and none will disappoint. Spice aficionados will enjoy perennial favorites like pad kee mow, pad gapow fried rice and prig khing. And if you're willing to go the distance, you can try filet of orange roughy imported from New Zealand. Don't leave without ordering the signature desert, the Jasmine Banana---homemade coconut ice cream with deep-fried banana wraps drizzled lightly with honey and topped with sesame seeds. There's enough to split with your companion, but forget it---just order one for yourself. |
