THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED La Creperie Cafe Restaurant Review:
Second Street in Belmont Shore may be the best nightlife area in Los Angeles, a lively, eclectic neighborhood that has a lot going on. La Crêperie is a mainstay, a place that is permanently packed but always seems to be able to manage one more table for new arrivals. The menu started simple and has gradually become more diverse, with pastas, chicken entrées, seafood and osso buco broadening the scope of the operation. The Belgian-style mussels are a hit, as is the Friday night special of bouillabaisse. Owner Patrick Parmentier is a constant presence, greeting regulars with a smile and a glass of pastis. The only downside to this place is the one that applies to the whole area---parking. Even so, it's worth a few trips around the block to enjoy this experience.
