La Cuisine Restaurant Review: A stone’s throw away from the Champs-Elysées, in Le Royal Monceau hotel, with its interiors that have been totally refurbished and designed by Philippe Starck, La Cuisine is dedicated to French fare. The young chef Hans Zahner prepares traditional dishes with a dash of creativity, like pike dumpling from Lyon with lobster sauce and roasted sole from La Rochelle with semi-salted butter, tender potatoes and piperade. Pastries and desserts such as millefeuille and coffee tartlet are created by celebrity pastry chef Pierre Hermé. Lunch menu at €58 and dinner menu at €98.
