La Dijonaise Restaurant Review

: Tucked into the renovated Helms Bakery complex---its neighbors include hip home furnishing showrooms and L.A. eateries like Father’s Office---La Dijonaise features an extensive menu of bistro favorites in a casual no-frills setting, with prices that can't be beat. A wide selection of breakfasts, including omelets, quiches and french toast, are offered, while salads, crêpes and sandwiches comprise satisfying lunches. At dinner, start with bistro classics like escargots Bourguignonne or moules marinières before delving into entrecôte with pommes frites, steak au poivre, bouillabaisse, coq au vin, or even pastas. Artfully presented cakes and tartelettes provide fitting finales. In addition to the full breakfasts, good morning coffee and croissants draw neighborhood regulars to this agreeable little spot, here at the epicenter of the Culver City renaissance.
