Lazy Daisy Cafe Restaurant Review

: A charming, casual organic dining spot, Lazy Daisy is more the kind of café you would expect to find in a New England college town than sunny SoCal. Walls are painted bright, primary colors with daisies hand-stenciled for a whimsical effect. Fresh-faced waitresses serve breakfast and lunch seven days a week to an eclectic crowd of students and professionals. Menu items run the gamut from morning-time omelets with every possible combination of stuffing to healthful salads at lunch. There's also a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, including standouts like the rosemary-turkey burger and the Lazy chicken sandwich with eggplant and roasted red pepper. There are pastas, pastries and an espresso bar, too. Also located at 2300 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica, 310-450-9011.
