Located in the heart of La Défense, the Melia hotel features a lounge bar on the top floor that affords a commendable view of the landmarks of Paris. It also houses Le Miroir, a Mediterranean restaurant that offers value for the price. Chef Patricio de Diego de la Vega honed his skills for the royal family in Spain and knows how to highlight good ingredients, with a shrewd combination of tastes. Squid and ceps carpaccio, asparagus risotto and roasted pineapple compose a hearty meal. Ask to be seated beside the bay window if possible to enjoy the sight of the Eiffel Tower. An affordable wine list completes the package.
