Le V Restaurant Review:
This trendy and sleek brasserie is set under a glass dome designed by Gustave Eiffel. It boasts comfortable banquettes and seats, modern paintings on the wall and a bay window that affords a glimpse of the kitchen. Chef Richard Robe, who has worked at Taillevent, prepares a cuisine that highlights the products and associates flavors in a creative way. Expect crab spring rolls with mesclun salad and soy vinaigrette; preserved lamb shoulder with sweet onions and black olives; and for dessert, pick out a pastry that hails from Ladurée, such as the lemon tart or the dacquoise, a cake made with layers of hazelnut meringue, almond, praline and milk chocolate. Around €60 à la carte.
