Lola's Restaurant Review

: You might vie with celebrities for a spot at the pool table at this late-night venue. Owner Loren Dunsworth keeps the good times rolling with more than 75 varieties of exotic martinis. The Cirque du Soleil is particularly compelling, made with saké, vermouth, ginger and edible glitter. The menu from chef Ryan Bergunio includes starters like a baked artichoke with Emmental cheese in phyllo and Dungeness crab cakes with fennel slaw. A grilled NY steak with truffled french fries and Parmesan-crusted halibut on garlic potato purée are available as entrées. The kitchen pumps out plates until 2 a.m. daily; the club-restaurant keeps jumping until much later.

Lola's is My Favorite

I have to say Lola's is awesome, their fruit infused martinis are amazing. The food is yummy. spinach & artichoke dip with the melted cheese! I've tried the brunch and crab benny was the best with bottomless mimosas. Kudos to the best kept secret in town. :D

Lola's tried to pull a switcharoo!

We saw ads for Lola's Mother's day special on various sites including their own that in a nutshell said
"Bring your mom for a fixed menu and we'll pick up the tab. Everyone else pays $22."
When we got there (2 families) we were told only 1 mom gets the dinner for free and everyone else has to pay $26 for the prixe fixed menu After I complained to the manager, she agreed to honor the $22, and then proceeded to charge us for the 1 mom that was suppose to be free. We had to again complain in order for them to remove the charge. The dinner wasn't worth the price, the long wait and the aggravation. Will NEVER go back and recommend you don't either.

Truly Disappointing

Five of my closest friends and I decided to go to Lola's to celebrate my friend's recent engagement. I had not been there in a while but heard the place had really gone downhill but decided to give Lola's the benefit of the doubt. My friends and I really made a regrettable choice to go to Lola's. First, the staff was very unfriendly bordering on rude. Secondly, the drinks were really terrible. In all fairness, I remember a time when Lola's had good drinks. Now they all tasted diluted. When the food arrived, our order was wrong. A few of us had to wait another twenty minutes for their order. The food was nothing short of awful. Not one person in our party liked any of the food. We sampled each other's orders and each was worse than the next. None of us finished what we ordered. We decided to order another round of drinks because we just wanted to have a good time. Again, the drinks were all around poor quality. None of us could not wait to leave. We decided to save the evening by going to a real restaurant to celebrate our occasion. Lola's was a complete waste of time and money. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will my friends and I ever go back there again.
