| The KISS formula (keep it simple, stupid) is in action here, and it works-most of the time. The idea of a neighborhood trattoria with a comfortable atmosphere and good food from homemade ingredients inspires the Louise's Trattoria chain. We wouldn't recommend it for anything other than an inexpensive bite on the run. The menu ranges from the Italian classics (fettuccine to pappardelle, sometimes oversauced) with some California/Italian twists thrown in (grilled salmon with artichoke relish). The prices are reasonable, and the service is usually good. |
