THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Luce Restaurant Review

: Luce is situated at a difficult location on the corner of Cañon Drive and Dayton Avenue. Owned by the same investors as Le Dôme on Sunset, the suede taupe drapes of defunct Avenue were removed and the floor-to-ceiling windows let you see the intersection from your table; nothing exciting, much like the cuisine. We found the execution of the comfort food lacking some precision, like the ravioli and tortellini that were too thick. The burrata cheese salad and the ahi tuna tartare need to be tastier. Fortunately, the rack of lamb was well-cooked. The desserts---an assortment of warm cookies, a chocolate cake---are missing some imagination though both were well-prepared.
