THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lucia's Restaurant Review:

Italian-born Cathy Halter and her two sons, Michael and John, have found a good formula with Lucia's. Located off Sunset Boulevard in residential Pacific Palisades, this cute Italian bistro welcomes mainly locals for a Mediterranean meal with American accents, at reasonable prices. Brick walls, large white mirrors and a wine bar set the décor for sampling her calamari fritti, tuna tartare or crab cakes for appetizers. A large selection of salads and pastas are available. Of course, pizza, in three different sizes, occupies a large part of the menu. For a main course, try the enormous lobster ravioli, or the mushroom-crusted ahi with julienne vegetables in a Merlot sauce. The Kobe beef cheeseburger with caramelized onions, Fontina and sautéed mushrooms is a good choice whether you are a parent or a child. Go for the chocolate soufflé cake or the fruit cobbler for dessert; the sweet ending is complimentary for those presenting a ticket from their day spent at the nearby Getty Villa. Wines from Italy and California will pair your meal.
