THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Lucy's 51 Restaurant Review:

Red and black walls, leopard print banquettes and gold frogs highlight the retro design of this restaurant named for the year the building was constructed, as well as the number of martinis on its cocktail list. The décor might scream “bar,” but don’t discount chef Peter Brown’s comfort food. Start with fried calamari or grilled shrimp satay. Entrées may include a 12-ounce Kansas City steak with rosemary marble potatoes and vegetables, and Cuban-style fried rice with plantains, sausage, shrimp and cranberries. At lunch, simpler options prevail, including several sandwiches and burgers. The beer and wine lists are entirely respectable, but the 51 martinis are a far more interesting and unusual option.
