| As its name suggests, this place produces both Italian and Mexican flavors in an endearing storefront with walls decked out in murals of New York and Philadelphia. The eclectic menu has plenty of choices, from an array of Philly cheesesteak sandwiches to pizzas from a wood-fired oven to Mexican specialties. Our experience is that the Luigi influence is more reliable, and the cheesesteaks are satisfying. One can also find decent lasagna here, but fish taco aficionados are likely to be disappointed. For dessert, consider New York specialties like cannoli or cheesecake. One thing that makes L.O. particularly noteworthy is its “exotic" menu items: gator, ostrich, kangaroo and turtle tacos, burritos and quesadillas. |
