Madeo Restaurant Review: At lunch, the roomy booths and tables at this very authentic Italian restaurant are sprinkled with industry types, who choose from such antipasti as the bresaola, steamed clams and mussels, creamy buffalo mozzarella and excellent risotto. The menu features first-rate carpaccio, pizzas with such toppings as Gorgonzola and porcini, thick Tuscan soup made with bread and cabbage, and branzino-filled ravioli. Don't be put off by the below-street-level setting. It makes Madeo a perfect hideaway. |
