McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant Review: This downtown branch of the upscale chain features a clubby environment highlighted with dark wood, stained glass and private booths (each includes its own phone). Fresh seafood dominates the lengthy menu: oysters on the half shell, wild California halibut and McCormick & Schmick's classics like almond-crusted rainbow trout. The wedge salad is a favorite, and the "fresh" list changes daily to reflect what's available. Several steaks are offered and they are fairly priced compared to most steakhouses. The devil's food cupcake stuffed with sweet cream cheese makes a small but satisfying finish. |
