 The Beverly Hills location of this upscale chain is dressed up in dark woods, brass and leaded glass. It hosts a robust happy hour scene nightly from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., during which you can get small plates of California-style pub food. Most of the suits---both male and female---in Beverly Hills seem to flock to the bar during this time, creating a considerable buzz and standing-room-only crowds. If you decide to stay for dinner, you'll find a daily-changing menu featuring the best from primarily Pacific waters, including dishes such as albacore tuna sashimi, truffle oil, Fresno chile, avocado and ponzu; oysters on the half shell; fried calamari; Hawaiian mahi mahi; and salmon stuffed with crab, bay shrimp, dill and Brie with chive beurre blanc. Desserts ranging from a banana Nutella tart and truffle cake sundae to seasonal sorbet may end the meal.
