THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Jamestown Fish Restaurant Review:

Jamestown Fish offers locally sourced seafood when practical (check the house cookpot, swimming with local lobster, shellfish and monkfish) and imports it when necessary (such as the European sea bream, roasted and served whole). A separate menu for the outdoor patio and upstairs Bridge Bar is nearly as extensive as that in the main dining room; we recommend the fluke entrée, simply fried in olive oil and topped with house-made breadcrumbs, served atop fresh greens. Portions are fine for small appetites; a selection from the appetizer menu may be in order for a fuller meal. A robust wine list accompanies and includes more than a dozen by-the-glass options. Pleasingly diverse teas are offered alongside the expected coffees and dessert wines. The back bar is warmed by a large oven that produces flatbread pizza with creative toppings like fig and prosciutto, and there's usually a good selection of interesting craft beers on draft. Chocolate pot de crème and cheesecake finished with old-fashioned cheese curd from Vermont Creamery highlight a list of sweets that departs from the ordinary. The setting is one of the loveliest in Rhode Island, especially on a warm summer evening when the aforementioned patio is bustling with activity, there's a happy din at the bar, and couples are in repose on couches surrounding the fire pit.
