King's Fish House Restaurant Review:

Cousins Sam and Jeff King, whose restaurant empire includes Water Grill, have developed a deft touch with seafood. This flagship establishment features black-and-white tile floors, clubby booths and an inviting patio. The menu is printed daily, depending on what’s fresh. In season, several varieties of Pacific and Eastern oysters are shucked to order. Seafood is available on salads, in soup, between bread and over pasta. A good way to sample a number of sea creatures is with the fried seafood combo pairing jumbo shrimp, beer-battered fish and scallops. There’s even a decent selection of sushi rolls. From the char-broiler, expect unusual finds like wild Washington red rockfish and Fijian ono. We enjoy the meaty slab of charbroiled yellowtail, especially with a squeeze of lime and paired with mac ‘n’ cheese or sautéed spinach. For dessert, order a slice of tart Key lime pie with a graham cracker crust. The drinks list covers everything from global wines to craft beers on tap, as well as classic cocktails.
