Lemongrass Restaurant Review:
We enjoy sitting at one of the few sidewalk tables at Lemongrass, taking in the vibrant Eagle Rock street scene and watching the community come to life before our very eyes. Inside, this family-operated eatery offers contemporary, sophisticated décor, with a soothing palette of sage and black, spare art and tropical orchids. The menu covers traditional Vietnamese territory, with some American concessions, and portions are generous. The pho alone attracts many customers, and the menu offers many varieties of this signature Vietnamese soup, such as rare steak, meatball, chicken and even vegetarian options. We like a light, healthy meal of spring rolls and shredded chicken salad with lemony vinaigrette, bowls of vermicelli noodles, barbecued meats and rice dishes, and banh mi sandwiches.
