Los Chorros Restaurant Restaurant Review:
Whether for lunch or dinner, Los Chorros offers an extensive menu that separates its two specialties: Salvadoran goodies and loads of typical Mexican dishes from tacos, fajitas and flautas to shrimp-and-crab enchiladas and the popular breakfast/brunch dish, chilaquiles con huevos (eggs with corn tortillas, salsa verde and cheese). If you are looking for a Mexican seafood repast, consider ordering the mariscada, a seafood soup full of lobster, shrimp, clams and scallops. On the Salvadoran side, you might want to experiment with carne a la parilla (marinated steak served with rice) or the very typical combinacion guanaca, a dish with rice, beans, sour cream, avocado and eggs. Don’t forget desserts such as flan, and for the uninitiated, the Salvadoran chilate con nuegados is a special treat. Beers and margaritas are prime beverages.
