Mandarin House Restaurant Review:
Mandarin House has been a San Diego fixture for decades, thirty-plus years. It’s a reliable spot for food that's as predictable as the restaurant's name, but still satisfies, especially if you order typical fare like cashew chicken or sweet-and-sour pork. The noodle dishes are good, too, and the Peking duck has its fans. It is also known for kung-po chicken, popcorn shrimp and moo goo gai pan, but we also like the Mongolian beef. Solid cocktails are another plus.
