Sonata Bistro Restaurant Review:

Executive chef Giuseppe Ciuffa's culinary outposts have popped up all over town, from the Museum Café at the Museum of Contemporary Art in La Jolla and Caroline’s Seaside Café at the Seaside Forum at UCSD Scripps Institute of Oceanography campus, to the Sculpture Court Café in Balboa Park. For breakfast at this eatery at Symphony Towers, there's fluffy garden pesto scrambled eggs with artichokes, yogurt parfaits or egg white “power” omelets with vegetables. The lunch menu tantalizes with garden-fresh salads like arugula with strawberries or a chicken Cobb with rotisserie chicken. In addition to comfort soups, wrap sandwiches and juicy burgers, diners line up for street-style tacos with marinated skirt steak, a local fish of the day, and wok bowls with rice or quinoa and your favorite protein.
